Geno Smith is an NFL Quarterback?

1st pass attempt is a pick-6.

Hey Jay. Throw it to the mother(frank)er who is open. FFS. He has way more confidence in his arm that he should. He takes forever to get rid of the ball.

More worried about Marshall's injury TBH. Offense has been fine.

More worried that the D still can't cover anyone in the middle of the field.
Cutler blew the throw to Jeffries and then tried to force it into the middle of the field.

Yeah the secondary is crap. Not a surprise at all.

Lamarr Houston should be given some credit for that Jets scoring drive. How dumb can you be to harass an official?

Didn't help but everyone is a day late on coverage. Screw the zone. Man up and bring the backers.

And Jay is going to throw one to the Jets sooner or later. He has gotten fortunate so far.

Think I'm done with the NFL.

Been drifting away from it for the last few years, now it's just boring to me. They've killed the game with ridiculous rule changes. I have it on now, and it's just barely holding my interest.

Great job pissing away the half. Against the (frank)ing Jets too.

Not giving up, but it's 3am and I'm nearly asleep watching how slow this game has been. Both teams trading off being garbage isn't enough to keep me up anymore.

Hope the result is to your (and my) liking, fellas.

Hey man you got me all wrong. I don't come here to needle, you guys are good at staying on point, and apart from an initial message from the Ref I have done the same. No high horse here, I'm just talking Hawks with the experts. Chillax.

And, you took a compliment, a clear and concise compliment, and tried to turn it into something else. I'll say it again, I was amazed that your lineup took a 10 or 11 player hit and two years later you won a Cup anyway. Make me wrong for saying that, g'head.

Voynov is not a deer in the headlights, and it seems some heavy resentment is clouding your view of me, and of the team I like.

Muzzin, playing his first full season, paired with Doughty and faced some fairly decent opponents like every single shift. We don't mind if he looks bad occasionally, he almost never repeats mistakes.

I could go down the list of Kings D, but why? The post, and my comments, are about what I, an idiot outsider, think YOU should do with YOUR team. I don't have to defend my team in order to be correct about your team. I also don't get to be right about your team even if I am right about my team.
It's a fair discussion, from this end.

Points taken. And mine still stand. The issue with defense this last WCF was more about lack of depth and Q not being able to keep 4 lines rolling. You lose Bolland and Frolik - you're losing some serious back checking ability - as well as guys who "play big". Zeus was fine as that extra PKer and faceoff guy in 13. In 14 he was basically expected by Q to be Frolik, Bolland and the 13 version of himself. The team will benefit from his absence mostly because Q will not be able to call on him instead of searching for other options. Hopefully, SB does not give him another veteran crutch like Zeus until he has gotten comfortable with his lines (maybe another deadline deal if needed) and allowed younger players (Nordstrom, Morin, Smith...) to establish themselves.

You're own blogger here was critical of Voyanov during the POs. Beyond the Muzzin/Doughty pair the rest are average at best. Green and Mitchell - when they realized they could interfere and hold as much as they liked - looked far better compared to what they actually were.

So you've chosen to gripe about the griping. Unfortunately, I don't think your post is a game changer.

He's making Emery look good...if people would only forget about Shea McLellin.

It seemed like Fuller wasn't mentioned much during the preseason and the fourth round draft choice Brock (can' remember his last ) was getting all the pub. I was getting worried Fuller was going to be a bust but he's looking pretty good.

Fuller was injured early in camp and missed a lot of time.
