God you soccer pus$ies are so (frank)ing sensitive.
I just meant not hard to learn the game in comparison to a sport like hockey. You can walk outside right now, put on shoes, and kick a ball around in your backyard. Skates, stick, puck, etc, and finding ice are a little bit more challenging. You also don't know squat about my soccer prowess.....38 min 10k, pssssht, please, I do that in 22 while banging laughs hot sister.

Most of that list is co-ordination based. If you have the co-ordination to run and kick the ball while making moves you have the coordination to run and catch, hit a ball, anything accuracy related.

Except skating. I see those East Indian guys try to play when they come here...it's hilarious, but then they didn't learn how when they were 6 so I credit them for trying at 25 or older. I'm sure I would look hilarious trying to play Cricket but we'll never know cuz I'm never going to even go near that (frank)ing retarded game.

Pretty much why I played growing up. Single mom, 3 kids and I loved to run. I still love playing, but I can't stand watching the diving and fake injuries hoping for a free kick. Don't kid yourselves too much though, it goes on a lot in hockey too. There is a lot more embellishment than there should be.
- abware

Ahhhhhh. Now you are tugging at my heart strings. I too was a child of a single mother, 3 kids. Only reason I could play hockey was because we had an outdoor rink back in Cowley, so skating was free. Then when we moved to Coaldale, there was a program run by a guy who did drills for half an hour, then scrimmage for an hour every Monday night for kids who couldn't afford to play on teams. Was 150$ a year and I had to pay for it out of my dishwashing money. The pro stuff on TV is boring to me, but as a sport for people to play, and get some great exercise, it is far more user friendly than hockey is, but it still sucks.

If you can play soccer for a full 90 minutes, you can pretty much play any sport. Not well by any means, but you CAN play them.
- TheCalSen

You mean like basketball and bowling and poker and stuff right???? Like nothing that requires any hand eye coordination.....guess that leaves out poker, bowling and basketball.

Not true. I know many people who are awesome at soccer and can't play baseball, because they have no co-ordination above the waist. They couldn't catch or hit a ball to save their life.

I'd say pretty much a LOCK unless 89% is too low for you. Actually I'm not trolling as much as you want to believe. I actually enjoy watching the Oilers, but enough is enough. They need to start winning or relocate them or sell the team.

Also you can also compare the Flyers to other organizations as well if you like. Like I said before, and most Philly fans will agree, it is super frustrating, but knowing you have teams that are backed by the city willing to win is at least encouraging.

Ok wow. Maybe you aren't trolling because after typing the two parts I bolded, you clearly are coming from a position of blind ignorance, and lack of knowledge. A team that sucks as bad as they do, yet still sells out every home game, whilst having one of the higher ticket prices in the league, is hardly one that needs to relocate, or doesn't have the backing of the city. They tried to sell the team once and the city came to the rescue and about 22 or 30 or so people stepped up and put in their own money to be owners of the team, and keep em in the city, this happened out side of America so I understand that you have no knowledge of this occurring but try to get some facts straight before you start spewing crap.

Yeah, coordination to do things without using your hands. I see part of your point, but in no way does playing soccer, immediately mean those skills will automatically transfer over to other sports that require the feet, and the hands and upper body. I would never dare say that a soccer player, could be as good of a Jedi with a lightsabre, as someone who swings a stick for a living.

How the (frank) would you know what my running abilities are? Just because you can't do it, someone else can't? For all you know I could be a distance runner. Built like a hockey player. Yeah so is big buff. Lay off the cheeseburgers and the hundreds of sedentary hours spent weekly on HB and you can be as good as Abware in the 10K
