It's all that really needs to be said. Your teams management has put band-aids on bullets holes.

What other out come will there be? You've essentially finish bottom 10 since 2006. The owners and front office have taken a storied franchise and made them the punch line of a NHL joke and EVERY fan has allowed it to happen.

If only we didn't waste all of those years with Tambs.

It's easy to shut a guy like him down in a tourney where most expect him to be the best but stick him on a line with stamkos and good luck shutting them both down. When you are no longer the most dangerous player on the ice things will likely become easier for him.

You didn't get the point of this blog... Drouin is super silled but not NHL ready. Being with stamkos does nothing to prevent defense playing hard on you and right now he seems to have issues dealing with NHL caliber defense. Also, if he were to play with Stamkos, he would play against top 2 D of any team they oppose.

I do think Drouin will become a star in a few years, but its left to be proven and he needs a lot of development. I agree that Lightnings shouldn't feel like they need to rush him.

Kind of like Curtis Lazar has nothing left to prove in the CHL with the Edmonton Oil Kings, but can't be sent to the AHL with the Binghamton Senators. I'm sure he'll make it hard for Ottawa to send him back to the CHL this season.

There really isn’t anything more Drouin can accomplish. Lazar? Not really in the same ballpark really. Not sure why you’d say that. Just because he was on a Memorial Cup team? So were 20 other players.
