I bet most of these people in these photos probably aren't even from Florida. Probably tourists and friends/family of the players/coaches/management etc...

Their attendance is terrible and those who go to games get a hotdog, beer and a ticket for $20. It's no wonder they're looking for a bailout from the state of Florida.

The other funny part is many of those sold tickets don't even show up to the games.

I was reading an article that said the Panther's generate around $7 of revenue per fan. Compared to Edmonton's $53 per fan.

Done and it told me what I already knew, the team wasn't good last year but the place was still sold out and it told me that people in Edmonton don't want to leave their house when it's -35 outside. All this is moot though because it has nothing to do with the blog you wrote. When I write a blog talking about the oilers filling Rexall Place every game then feel free to post that link again.

You have no (frank)ing clue what it means to support a losing team. The oilers have won multiple cups have had the best player in history play for you.

What have the panthers done in their whole history? They have made the playoffs just three times in their existence. Not to long ago had 10+ years of not even seeing the playoffs, and have finished in the bottom of the league more times then you can count! And the best part is when the team ever got good the owners would just trade all the best players away because they cost them to much.

Come talk to me when the oilers have been that bad because they are not even close!

It is relevant to my point. It builds a strong fanbase. Outside of your recent playoff drought you have had a pretty good (frank)ing team! Plus even with how bad you have been you still have had pretty good stars to watch like hall, erberle, RNH etc... We just set the league low for a point leader on a team for 82 games!

And just because you're generation haven't witnessed a cup doesn't mean most of your fanbase hasn't. Not to even mention you were Conference championships in 05-06. The last time we were relevant was back in 95-96 so sorry if I don't feel bad for you guys.
