Any chance one day down the road the NHL will eventually go back to the white at home / dark away jersey's again? I guess I'm kinda old school and I still wish it was that way.

As do I. Never understood why the League changed. Now every home game looks the same, playing against white team. I liked the variety of all the opposing dark jerseys.

Those look goooooood. But honestly, I would have rather had the diagonal Pittsburgh. I don't think they should wear these jerseys against Boston though, it will look like a team scrimmage

That is the way it is supposed to be.

This will not happen anytime soon though. It was the large number of teams using Third jerseys, and visiting teams did not want to have to carry both white uniforms and dark ones on long trips. So black at home and white on the road simplified it; teams could wear their normal dark uniform or a third jersey at home and the visitors would only have to bring a white jersey.

Still, I prefer WHITE at home.... I get tired of seeing Black vs White every night. I miss the days when It would be white vs Blue, or white vs Red....

I look at college uniforms and color schemes and I think they are superior to most pro uniforms. Maine, UM and ND all have unique sweaters that you don't see too much of outside of the original 6. Canes look like the wings, how many red white blue combos do we need? I do like the CBJ canon jersey. FLA, TB, Nash, so many are just meh...
