Don't kill me but these are pretty cool. A step in the right direction. I think the Pens jerseys now are one of the ugliest in the NHL.

So, in other words, you'll be watching the game from the Irish Pub by the 2nd period?

Better yet, the AC Bar and Grill. Only a few blocks further down the road.

Still looks like a solid group of defense for the Phantoms
- ob18

I can honestly say I have never been this excited by 1 young Flyers dman prospect let alone multiple as I am with this group.

If we can get 1 stud and 2-3 2 pair types out of this group I will be elated.

Just make sure they keep all the black light out of the arena. We don't want to incriminate Pierre.

Schultz and Manning taking reps as "4th" pairing. Coburn with MacDonald. Del Zotto with Schenn.

So, Streit with Grossmann........

I like that teams are going back to more retro stuff. The jerseys from the early to mid-2000s were horrendous for many teams.

Bill reporting that Bellamare is flying...

Bill Meltzer ‏@billmeltzer 4m

Side-by-side sprints going on with a loose puck just above faceoff circle. Bellemare is 3-for-3 so far in getting to puck first.

My favourite Flyer for years, if it is indeed the last time we see him on the ice, this is one guy they should actually keep in the organization in one aspect.

His ability to break up 2 on 1's, always a pleasure to watch.

- flyer_nutter

That's actually the most impressive thing about him. Of all of the defensemen I've ever watched, he was the best at breaking up 2-on-1's I've ever seen. Never had the biggest body or the longest stick, but his positioning and hockey sense were phenomenal.

Worth noting that Scott Laughton is not out with the veterans group. He'll be in prospects group in 2nd session.
