We are not a conservative team, we are a let’s (frank)ing giddy up and go type of team.

Play (frank)ing hard. Play for each other, support each other. Come back to the bench (frank)ing dripping tired with (frank)ing sweat and exhaustion. Put your foot on the (frank)ing gas.

Depends on who plays with who. And there is a lot more to the game then scoring. Simmonds is a tougher and more competitive player in my opinion.
- MJL

Absolutely it depends on who plays with who. Simmonds did a remarkable job of staying on pace with Voracek last season. At the same time Ryan never looked out of place playing Getzlaf and Perry. He was one of them. A perfect compliment to those two players. I wouldn't under value what Ryan brought to that line. Again, I love Simmonds and you're right, there is more to hockey then scoring but as far as raw skill goes, I'm giving Ryan the edge. Now if you asked me if I would trade Simmonds for Ryan? Absolutely not.

I wouldn't have fired Laviolette. I know it sounds nuts but he brought us to a Cup Final just a little over four years ago now and has a Cup under his belt. There was very little I didn't like about him.

Like I siad previously, setting a new fan record for fastest bail out on a team in NHL history. What is it, the 2nd day of training camp?

Look, these parades you throw are very expensive. You using my police, my sanitation people, and my Oldsmobiles free of charge. So, if you mention extortion again, I'll have your legs broken.

I'm guessing that's a photo of Byfuglien about 4-6 hours after leaving Golden Corral?

Could be worse, but that's still insane. First day of camp and he's out. I can't believe it.

Honestly, when I heard Giroux and pulled groin on the radio I was relieved that it was his own groin he pulled.

I think Ryan has a slight edge as a goal scorer. Simmonds was tied for 12th overall in the NHL in scoring among RW's last year. And that's with first unit PP time, but 2nd line at ES. If Simmonds played with Giroux, do you think his point totals would be boosted? How about if Simmonds played with Getzlaf and Perry.

Ryan is a good scoring forward, but highly overrated in my opinion by many.
