Don't be sad...anything can happen in the East, I expect the Leafs to finish ahead of the Habs.

Should be a very entertaining season then...I look forward to the friendly banter.

Nobody ever told me which advanced stat measured the likelihood of a goalie getting injured.

That being said, advanced stats have value, but aren't the end-all, as the Leafs showed for the last two seasons.

Reimer was good enough to get the Leafs into the playoffs, but all of a sudden he's the reason they collapsed? Come on

Simmon's " Kessel is lying"

How about they ban him from the team?

He played terribly down the stretch. I don't see how anybody could deny that.

Carlyle didn't play him enough last season, IMO. He was good enough to play more games, and give Bernier more rest. Overplaying Bernier made Reimer worse, and may have led to Bernier's injury

A goalie can play well 1 year and be terrible the next...or even game to game. I found Reimer came in and never made any big stops in the 1st 10 mins of a few games...and we needed that, instead we had to chase the game and it just didn't work. Not saying it was Reimer fault totally, but he did ZERO to help the team when we needed him to be the hero. JMO.

(frank) Simmons, make him work like a dog to get even a tidbit of leaf info now.

Reimer was ok until he stopped getting consistent starts. He was awful once Bernier went down.

Some goalies make great back-ups because they can step in with rust and shut the door.

Reimer's not one of those players, he needs to play consistently.

Trade him, he's not going to be a starter here unless Bernie goes down. We need to win the games the backup plays.

Hopefully he fixes that this year since it's unlikely he'll get a job as a starter anywhere else unless he plays well this season.

I think we're better off giving Reimer consistent starts. Doesn't have to be an even split, but the starts need to be consistent.

I'd say the Leafs had a very, very questionnable defensive system/cast with good goaltending.

Offense was just fine.

Here are the dates he played and save percentage..... he was playing often enough considering most weeks there are only 3 games....... I dont think playing 50% of the games is reasonable

Can we steal any players from chicago, tampa, philly or boston who are currently over the cap?

Seabrook and Dion would make a fine defence pair.
