JVR's got a really good contract but when you're talking about a 6'3 centre who scored 33 goals at 21 years of age, JVR's contract seems inconsequential. these guys, guys like RJ, they are so, so rare.

We'll see. I'm hoping that there has been some serious talk about carrying the puck vs dumping it, and maintaining an effective forecheck ESPECIALLY when going for a line-change. Just some smart, simple changes can make a big difference

I haven't seen Johansen play. I like JVR and I don't want the Leafs to trade him. He's a good player with a good contract. If they traded someone like Bozak for Johansen and he was better on the 1st line with JVR and Kessel then great. But I still don't think I'd pee myself.

Poor guy. My wifes aunt has MS - bound to a wheelchair now. Her frustration levels peak to a point where she rages because she can't do the most simple things, and she takes it out on the ones who will allow her to - her family. She has to rely on everyone else to get through a day, and her pride and independence are gone. Tough go that disease is. Would make anyone testy at times.
