Every time one of these things comes up it's always a bunch of nothing. Maybe that means this will be different.

Which reminds me, remember Pronger's awhile back? When the beats were speculating that he'll make a comeback and that's why he wasn't retire? THey had no clue how the CBA worked with 35+ deals. It was embarrassing.

- NickTheKid87

I don't think anyone was speculating that Pronger was coming back. The Flyers held that press conference to go along with the song and dance that Pronger was still out injured. This pretty much came at time when he was doing scouting stuff for the team outside his duties as a player.

It was a song and a dance. That's it. The league wasn't going to do anything anyway.

I know, I was just reminiscing about how uneducated the beats can be at times.

The timing is just curious. Right before camp starts. Maybe they just want to get it out so they aren't getting questions every day at camp

Hard to say, I don't know a heck of a lot about blood clots. If he does walk away from the money, it speaks to his character.

There's two guys I truly regret didn't get a ring in Philadelphia: Kimmo, and Roy Halladay

October is the best month of the year because you get hockey intertwined with football, as well as the baseball playoffs. Nothing better.
