You are bang on. For some reason, some people think it's the way of the future. It makes for the absolute most dry (frank)ing article ever. I would rather listen to people argue about +/- for (frank)'s sake. These advanced stats work in 1 sport. Baseball. A sport where it actually has an aspect of its game that comes down to 1 vs 1.

Leafs have invited Brady Vail, a Habs pick (4th rd in ’12) from the Windsor Spitfires that Montreal declined to sign.

Why wouldn't the Habs sign this guy? Seems crazy to me.

they are offering him quite a lot of money.

His agent is being nice and not saying "Ryan wants to play somewhere less poopty than Columbus"

he wants a one year deal to go to Arb, or a 4 year deal to go to UFA... They're offering everything but those two options.

Just picked up vito from the vet and they had to use quite a bit of sedatives on him, it's like dealing with a drunk. His back legs to quite work yet and he's trying to walk around the house but he takes three steps and just stands there looking like he's going to fall down.
