I've shot with both. I just prefer the Nikon because it feels like Morna's old film cameras. She inevitably made the choice for us when we started shooting weddings. I'm sure she'd have a great old time debating this with gluck, me, I'm so used to using the D300 and the D90, and I love her full frame camera more than my buddies Cannon, so I have to back the wife with this one.

Gonna be honest here... I don't think there's a big difference between the two brands when it comes to SLRs... just depends what you're most comfortable with.

And neither brand comes close to Fuji when it comes to bridge cameras.

I killed dozens of shutters in the 5D I had to use for work in the past. Two in one day once.
