Just curoius on anyone elses opinion..How would you split it up? here's mine..

Teams clearly ahead of the leafs (in no order):

Boston
Tampa
Pitts
NYR
Columbus

Teams clearly worse than the leafs( in no order):
Florida
Isles
Buffalo
Carolina
Ottawa

Teams Toronto will be battling for one of 2 - 3 playoff spots (in no order):
Montreal
Philly
Washington
New Jersey
Detriot

- D.Lemieux

Montreal will easily be a top-3 seed in the Atlantic with Boston and Tampa.

Did Selanne just ever throw Boudreau under the bus

"“If we had any other coach, I’d still play,” said Selanne."

Everyone seems to love Selanne, but this seems like a really unnecessary dig. Teemu's time was done. He looked finished last season.

I'm saying that much bigger and important news, such as political scandals, came from "anonymous sources".

But then again, it's a case of fans seeing this unfold and say "this is bullpoop, because you're talking about my favorite team/player".

- Pecafan Fan

Anonymous sources such as corporate whistle blowers are a far cry from saying this unnamed minor hockey coach said Steve Spott said Kessel's 15 lbs overweight. How is this big news or good journalism? I don't think it's a case of anyone saying it's bullshyt because it's my favourite team/ player. It's just shytty reporting and I would say that if it was written about a Habs player.

I think they will all be noticably better. Still don't think any of them make the playoffs though.

Who has the biggest fall?

- D.Lemieux

tough to say...i think u see Isles a bubble team tho

biggest drop, i really dont know, from east could be Montreal, Tampa and from West could be Colorado and Minnesota

It's typical anti-Leaf bs from the Toronto media.

We have identified Feschuk's audience apparently. The irony of a Hockeybuzz forum comment calling a professional athlete fat is laughable.

They'll position themselves however they must in order to face Boston first. Poor Bruins.

What matters more? Kessel's body fat, or the fact he can be a top NHL scorer with Bozak?

Feschuk is trying to tell us hearsay means more.

So, who was it that i had the bet with regarding the avalanche and lightning making (my view), not making (mysterious poster's view) the playoffs this season. And what were our terms again?

Montreal I think will take a big step forward. Galchenyuk I think is going to take a huge step forward. But yeah, it comes down to a healthy Price, the same way our season depends on a healthy Bernier.

The reality is, I don't think Anaheim would have signed him. If they did, it would have been to be a bottom 6 forward on a cheap deal.

I think Reimer makes our chances better with a backup.
