I think Kane's just fallen into that typical young, black, brash, sports star personality that predominates the american sports landscape. He'll grow out of that.

Johansen just has a bumhole of an agent.

Put them both in their hometown and you would see a change in attitude.

I was watching some of the media day videos on the Blue Jackets sight yesterday with the management group taking questions and there was one point towards the end of the clip where JD is obviously frustrated and says something about RyJo leaving town... as if that would be the end of negotiations or something... (think it was towards the end of the 8min clip)

I think it was just JD letting off steam, didn't hear any reporters follow up. Today the feed is so slow I can't find it. (Got towards 6 mins of the 8 min clip and it ended...)

Just about every team would love to pick up a player like this, but you have to wonder what it would cost if the CBJ decide to move him?

Four first rounders is what it will take to get RJ.

Shink Horvat Jensen and next years first. If you are not willing to part with that then this conversation becomes moot.

You are being more realistic than most. Davidson wont be interested in waiting for a 2016 1st.... it will be this draft coming that will be a must. He will want a C prospect that is closer to the NHL than McCann... that would be Horvat of course.

I see people putting packages together of players they think the Canucks can part with. Thats not how the mechanics of a blockbuster work. Its going to be something like what you posted... or another 1st instead of Jensen etc.... I bet the Davidson would like Edler on his team even....

I am never sure what a players reaction should be when the are asked to waive... it sounds like Bieksa wants to stay here for his whole career...

Garrison when asked to waive said okay to going to Tampa...

Would Edler waive to go to Columbus? idk, but it would sure help with the salary cap.
