I usually end up quitting half way through the year. Is there a way I can pre-set my roster for a few weeks over the holidays?

TSN did a little summary of the 7 Canadian teams today. They included 6 lines of forwards for each team and Baertschi wasn't mentioned.

Ya what a joke, I really do think this is the year Baert earns a full time spot. He was sent down to work on his defensive game, and by all accounts he accomplished that. If he comes in to camp motivated/buys in to Hartley's system I think he could easily bump guys like Jones/Gootch and even MayRay out of the lineup.

One of my favourite things about Hartley (even though it was frustrating when he did it to Baert last year) is that he is not afraid to sit anybody. It's nice that Burke gave him the authority to do so last year, and I believe BTL will give Hartley the go ahead as well.

In November and December everyone was talking about Backlund not even playing in the league as soon as his contract is over. He benched him and sat him which I think finally got to him to play a little better.

I positive the same thing will happen to Sven

Quotes from Hartley yesterday:

"Last year we established a slogan: Always earned, never given," Hartley said. "With this, you build accountability only if you respect the slogan. Everyone has slogans. If you don't stick to them they become words, and words have no power."
On Monahan:
"With [Monahan], it was always the same great team player loved by his teammates. I really believe that he's going to be a huge leader for us. Huge leader, big minutes, and he's going to have a great season."
On players making the team:
"If you're 18, if you're 22, if you're 32, if you're 42, you'll be on the team."

I saw this. These types of comments is what makes players want to come to Calgary. Something that Calgary hasn't had in the past. I always thought that Calgary needed a culture change and I believe it is now there.

Now why can't the flames third jerseys look like the Stamps Labour day jerseys.
