The only thing is, it's only been 1 year. If he can repeat or better that consistently, he's in the #1C club.

But apparently another mid round 1st pick has just as good a chance of joining that club, so not worth the risk

He had 13 more points than Kadri while playing on the first line and top PP unit.


Put Kadri on the top line and see how many points he would get.

I've watched him quite a bit. I watched BJ's games last season. They were exciting. And I wanted the Leafs to offersheet him, until I heard how much money he was demanding.
