It's a little difficult to pick a coach or players for a sytem when there's no system in place at the top. The Leafs management seems to roll out of bed and changes philosphy as frequently as they change underpants.

Maybe Polak with phaneuf 5 on 5 and penalty kill. I like the sounds of it.

I love how possession people say Polak possession numbers were bad so he is no good but if you watch him play, he gets the puck on his stick and clears it, he is not a puck rusher or holds onto the puck, yet another instance of looking solely at stats and not watching the player. Mirtle falls into this category.

I think so, older and played with tougher competition, Drouin may struggle a bit.

I agree. And while I don't understand them...Analytics are a useful tool to those who know how to use them.

They wouldnt have been a playoff team. We had 2 legit NHL centers..
