I'm honestly counting down the days until he sustains a 2 month injury. Groin, pull, sprain, back etc. I doubt he gets through the preseason. The injury he got just hopping over the boards was scary. The man makes Gaborik look like Iron Man. Hoping for the best.

I know right? I've always liked Havlat but man oh man never seen a guy get injured more so in such unfortunate ways usually too. I remember one season in Chi he was having a great year and than boom concussed not sure if even came back that year.

I forgot about that. Man I pray this kid is ready and same with Matteau push some of these bums out of lineup. Give us some youth up front. But that's a long shot.

If we didn't have Bernier and Gionta, I'd be excited to see Matteau on the 4th line. He's one of the only prospects who would actually grow from playing on the 4th line.
