No sir, Hedman seduced me the first time I saw him play the Leafs. A big man isn't supposed to be able to skate like that---as for Rundblad, his big SEL year was a joke. All the good swedes had jumped ship to other leagues and all the young guns were in the NHL. That's why I cautioned Yost that both Wiercioch and Cowen were far and above the better prospects.

Headman was a 2nd overall.. Unless you dominate there will be criticism. That's what i meant. I agree he is a smooth skating top pairing Dman.

He deserves it, he's done a great job covering analytics. And his coverage of Eugene was awesome too. Can't say I've always agreed with what he's said (I remember trying to burst his bubble (and in the long run being right) about a certain swedish defenseman overachieving in a watered down SEL, (obviously I wasn't speaking of Erik) but other than that, thought what he wrote was pretty bang on.

If an owner of a professional sports franchise goes out of his way to shut a blogger down, then yes you have influence (in your local market anyway) and a corporation like TSN will take notice.

I thought Travis did an awesome job and he's being rewarded for it.
