He deserves it, he's done a great job covering analytics. And his coverage of Eugene was awesome too. Can't say I've always agreed with what he's said (I remember trying to burst his bubble (and in the long run being right) about a certain swedish defenseman overachieving in a watered down SEL, (obviously I wasn't speaking of Erik) but other than that, thought what he wrote was pretty bang on. |

Was he wrong about Toronto? As for Colorado, his only point was they wouldn't do well in the playoffs against the strong possession teams, no matter how fast of a team they were. He also didn't close the door on Colorado going forward. He wasn't wrong there.
As for his feelings about Ottawa, I thought he was very critical of last years squad. And MacArthur was a good signing by Ottawa. |
