Unless the guy has been bouncing around since he was 18, age is just a number. Players mature at different times anyway.

If only he'd been drafted by the Flyers, panotch could have deemed him a bust since he wasn't a top-pair defender at 19.

Laughton should've played college hockey. At least then he'd have a degree to fall back on.

Well, he still has a shot to make it this year. But if he doesn't make the top-9, it's really a wasted pick.

Absolutely. He is at that point where it is make or break for him. If he doesn't get his act together soon he will be flipping burgers at Tim Hortons by November. He will just be alcoholic old Scott, pissed off that his younger brother Dean, while a slight, effeminate pansy, will still score the winning goal and get the coaches daughter naked.

Ah, okay. I mean, the rest makes total sense, but the one part was a bit odd.

Hextall has been especially impressed with D man Mark Alt at camp. Because of his age (almost 23) he won't play in rookie game.

He'll be fine in Reading. There's all the outlets and on Friday he can drive to Ephrata and buy his clothes and fresh produce at the Green Dragon.
