Berube obviously doesn't read our posts, and has no clue about what he is doing.

They were a hot team over the last 65 games or so, but I'm still not sold on him. I find myself second guessing a lot of his moves.

Well, Gus sure got some more playing time in the khl. He played 27mins in his last game, and have 4 points in his first five games.

Regarding Hägg, I do think that he has a very typical Swedish personality (being a Swede myself I recognize his way of thinking). What we say and what we really feel is not the same, especially not when being interviewed in another language. Just look at Lidström and his personality. Im not too worried.

Probably the 4th line. Laughton in all likelihood will be given big AHL minutes as opposed to garbage minutes with the big club.

It'll give Vinny a chance to redeem his value as well.

If they ice a good fourth line, it wouldn't have to be garbage minutes.

I second guess some. Mostly it has to do with his line combos.

Interesting that Pierre-Edouard Bellemare can play all three F positions, but Berube intends to use him at center. At least to start.

Yeah, because the Flyers have such a huge hole at center

- Jsaquella

This might be just in pre-season games where we will have holes.

Per Sheri Forde of TSN, Cal Heeter is skating with the Maple Leafs.

I have no idea what this means, but I have a feeling it is funny when I figure it out.

It's from Mean Girls. One of the girls keeps using "fetch" trying to make it a catch word, and the lead girls yells it at her after a while.

The real issue is goaltending. The Flyers haven't had a goalie since Hextall.

Possible. But I'd rather get a look at the kids-Laughton, especially-who could handle that 4th line role. Rather have Bellemare on a wing where his speed can be a big factor in the bottom 6

Hextall has been especially impressed with D man Mark Alt at camp. Because of his age (almost 23) he won't play in rookie game.

It can be, but he's had one season of pro hockey so far, way too early worry about old

Per Ron Hextall, Anthony Stolarz will likely start in net for Flyers and split game in half w/ Martin Ouellete.

Unless the guy has been bouncing around since he was 18, age is just a number. Players mature at different times anyway.

It's 68 degrees, and there's a... 30% chance it's already raining!
