I had to go back and check the stats to make sure that I didn't miss something. I thought for sure they had to have gotten to EJ at least once. But nope. Not 1 sack. After Miami had 2 strip fumbles against Brady last week, I couldn't believe it. Henderson quietly had a very good day.

EJ did a nice job on a few plays avoiding the rush too. The pass to Jackson on 3rd that gained 20 he flushed the pocket and found him. It's the little things like that where you can see the improvement

I am happy with a little improvement every week . There will be setbacks ! I am aware he is not a future hall of famer . Lots of quarterbacks have had good careers without being in the Hall of Fame. They are not going to the Superbowl , but at least the games are watchable.

What do you mean ? Don't the players get first crack at tickets ?

Just watch other QB's play. People have trouble keeping perspective. Ben Roethlisberger made about 10 errant throws last Thursday, Kaepernick turned it over 4 times when really if he just managed the clock, the 49ers win.

For some reason, we win by 19 points, our offense puts up 22 of them and it's not good enough?

Forgot to take that into consideration. Let me rephrase that . They will not be playing in the Superbowl.

You're forgetting, this is the same group of fans that would complain if we won the Stanley Cup that it took 6 games instead of 5. Nothing is ever good enough.

ESPN has no clue about Hockey nor do they care about it.

Agreed. For me ? I don't care how they played the game . It's the final score that counts. I giggle every time I hear.." They played a great game" even though they lost. How can that be ?

The main thing was EJ didn't turn it over. Plus in the past anytime we had a play go for negative yards, even only 2 yards, the drive was over. Now we're converting.

It's the Buffalo way . You forgot that after we win the cup . That people will be pissed if the parade does not go by their house.

Trades do not really happen mid season in the NFL . Unless you discipline your child.

Society has going to hell in a hand basket .To much political correctness. I got disciplined as a kid . So did most successful people . Never got hit with a switch . But Peterson did . My Dad was 6 foot 5 over 300 pounds built like a brick wall . I would have rather had a switch than his big mitt.

He still was wrong. His son had cuts and bruises. That's abuse. Kid was 4, not 14.

Who are you or any of us to say he was wrong ? Where you there . Did you see what the child did to be disciplined . Sorry I am getting leary of government now getting into peoples homes . This was not violent child abuse . It was him disciplining his kid . Do we have the right to take his livlihood away ? Where the injuries life threatening ? The fact is it can often look worse after the fact . The story is he punished his child for being aggressive with another child and pushing them down. How would you feel if you were the parent of the other child ? This is a real grey area for me.

I agree that people should be less negative, and I KNOW that once people start focusing on something, perception can become reality whether its accurate or not. So it could be that EJ's reputation for inaccuracy will remain "reality" whether or not the stats back up the perception.

But putting the EJ thing aside, nobody knows how good the Dolphins really are, they have a patchwork LB corps in light of a bunch of injuries, and we had the ball in the red zone three times yesterday and had to settle for field goals. I love that we didn't turn the ball over, but what if that team's two RBs didn't get hurt - would our redzone ineffectiveness have been more problematic?

I'm watching carefully to see what might happen.

Max - I think you may be off on this one.

The kid was 4 years old, and had multiple lacerations on his legs, buttocks and scrotum. That's pretty violent under any standard.

So do Roy Williams, Randy Moss, and Carson Palmer.

Point being: they're not commonplace. But they're not like a solar eclipse or Haley's Comet either.

He was 4 years old. If this was a teenager I'd have a slightly different opinion.

He sent the kid to the doctors with cuts and bruises, and not just a couple either. What he did was wrong. Plain and simple
