A team that could use him , they have the cap room and the young projects to deal is the Flames.

Burrows and Higgins for Kane makes the nose sense for both teams. Kane has potential but he has a bad attitude. Burrows and Higgins could be wingers on a 2nd line for the Jets. So the Jets would ship out a bad apple and get pretty much a new 2nd line in return. But I don't think Benning would want Kane and his ego in the locker room so this trade won't happen.

If the rumours are true about a trade to WPG , the starting point would be Hansen whose wife is from The Peg, Eddie Lack , a pick and a prospect.

Agreed, Hellebucyk and Comrie are pretty solid. Vancouver would be pushing Shinkaruk likely though.

But the difference between Hutchinson and lack is probably very minimal...pavelec may suck, but he'll be push by a young tender eager to prove he belongs in the nhl. So lack in a trade will bring no real value, and clog the development of their younger prospects like Hellebyuck.

The thinking would probably be that the teams would want the new players in a pre-season game and a few practices before the start of the season.
