(a) Kane is not a team player, the Canucks want character players, not characters.

Dine and dash is against the law....

Burrows and Higgins for Kane makes the nose sense for both teams. Kane has potential but he has a bad attitude. Burrows and Higgins could be wingers on a 2nd line for the Jets. So the Jets would ship out a bad apple and get pretty much a new 2nd line in return. But I don't think Benning would want Kane and his ego in the locker room so this trade won't happen.

I wonder how much of the 'bad attitude' he displays is a media fishbowl painting what they want to paint, for the sake of something to write about. Kane is proud of the fact he is what he is, he likes hip hop, he likes to flaunt his cash, and has an ego: pretty much the case with all NHL top line players.

As far as Burrows, perhaps 'you are only as good as your last season' rings true; however, we are quick to forget he was the most 'clutch' player the team has ever had: more OT wins, game #7 wins, shootout wins when they mattered than the team has seen in a long, long time. I even admired the fact that when J.T. stromed the Flames locker room like a complete buffoon, A.B. was the only player that had his back, not because it was a good idea, but because he has an unwavering loyalty to the team that brought him out of a life of ECHL mediocrity, and gave him a shot.

We were too busy buying out other asses . There are only so many plugs you can put in a Dyke.

Lack would get the bigger return , but that requires Markstrom having a huge camp . I think Markstrom will get moved but I am secretly hoping it is Miller that gets traded
