He is a huge part of the future plans for the Blues and will likely be their captain someday. He will sign a bridge deal in the next 7 days and this will be a non-story.

As much as I'm sure nearly every team in the league would be figuring out how they could pick up Schwartz, I'd be shocked if he was wearing anything other than the blue note for many years to come. Armstrong will get it done. Everyone in St. Louis has a special feeling about this year and I'm sure Schwartz wants to be part of that.
