He was a beast in the WHL. Controlled the puck well when he had it but wasn't always the best at getting it away to a teammate effectively. Such a pain in the ass to play against, though.

Yea it sounds like he can shutdown the opposition very well. His issue is offense though and besides a hard shot there isn't much upside there due to his lack of vision and skating. I'd be happy if he turns into a Bieksa-type defenseman.

You guys have a really underrated one in Nathan Burns.

He will impress you. Plays a pro-style game. No real weaknesses. Nothing flashy, low-risk, but works hard and gets poop done.
