I'm not so sure X. I'm not sure the new owners will want to be seen as Wang Lackey's for keeping the same GM. Unless the Isles are real threats to win the Cup, I'm not sure Garth stays? The new owners have to make their own mark.

The next two years.... I just can't see this team not being relevant with the players coming up in the next two years, as well as the development of the guys we have already in orange and blue.

Unless Snow completely sh!ts the bed in the next two years, which I think NO ONE wants... I think he's gonna be here for a while.

With Garth & Cappy calling the shots and our current roster, I can definitely see this team not making the playoffs the next 2 years.

We won't see a significant defensive improvement during camp b/c Boston will not likely trade within their conference(they're smart about things like that) and Chicago's asking price will be too much for Garth to part with.

Plus Dan has said it more than once: You don't spend $548 Million and not get to make personnel decisions. Garth's rebuild has NOT worked, beyond acquiring top draft picks via losing seasons. But 3 of those 1st rounders are crap: Bailey is all but a bust. Nino was given away for virtually nothing. Vanek cost us next years 1st rounder. Plus our defense is still weak. I wouldn't say that's crapping the bed but is surely is the same as pissing in it.

wow, we dont agree at all on this topic.. this rebuild is going wonderfully... and is just about to reap the benefits of it all.
