53rd season. It's a fantastic outlet for fat and ugly people to feel self righteous and above the vanity and shallowness of the contestants while at the same time living vicariously through them. We'll be in our graves before this series is.

So the wife comes last?

Sure hope she doesn't read this.

- Tee-Dot

I have a buddy that was talking the other day. Says his wife and he were out on the deck drinking wine and talking. She says to him "you are my best friend". He was "like? Really? I have Bill who I've known since kids and Jerry and my golf group and hockey team....you're like 7th maybe 8th on my list"....

He didn't get any action that night....

Well old school sout park would be the comedy I would say. The only other shows I really watch would be Game of thrones and Suits, oh and sometimes American Restoration
- SpoiledByOil

Is American Restoration the one out of Las Vegas?

I don't watch a whole lot of TV, but what I've found with those reality shows (Pawn Stars, American Restoration) is they start out OK, presenting a calm (if unspectacular) show. I really did like Pawn Stars for a while.

But at a certain point, I guess the producers feel that they have to start building story lines and help us get to know the personalities better - which results in the most transparently staged crap. The whole Chumlee thing is a complete waste of my time. It's not funny, it's not interesting, it's not believable.

Same thing with American Restoration - they've introduced some freaky-looking guy as a new employee. And I saw one the other day where they hired a guy who is now living in a trailer on the lot. It's just stupid.

And seeing as how I'm on a rant here, I absolutely loved Survivorman - until I saw a show on the weekend where he was looking for sasquatch. It was the absolute worst crap I've ever seen - completely dissolved any credibility Les Stroud ever had.

Sad, really.

Yea I agree, I used to watch pawn stars but it got real old real fast. I like the restoration show just becuase i like to see the whole process of restoring something, some of the characters are annoying but the product is still there and still very good.

I find the concept laughable, I should say the restoration cost is comical.

Once you hear about something once, ie. Suits, you seem to hear about it constantly. Isn't that weird. Anyway, if you like SP and GoT, I can't be argue with you over Family Guy.

Really!? We can find entire skeletons of giant lizards from 65 million years ago, but we can't find a single Sasquatch bone. Are they magical creatures that simply disappear when they die?

if he worked on his skating he may be more beneficial, but like you said, we have dion, rielly, gardiner all with the same type of offensive skill - but they are all better defensively...even gards.

I swear when they take the reigns off him and let him play by instinct instead of constantly thinking about what the coaches have been asking him to do in this situation, he'll be better defensively. I don't think he's the type of player that thinking is good for.

Funny thing is, I absolutely love sasquatch. I've loved sasquatch since I was about 6 years old, and saw the movie Mysterious Monsters.

It's fun. It's just not to be taken seriously.

These crap shows now where guys run around in the woods, and point to a broken tree as riveting proof of sasquatch's existence are painfully embarrassing.

Why the poop would Les Stroud make that crap? Does he have drug debts or something?

meh, if he was stronger...maybe he will get better..but he's so (frank)ing weak in our end...I think Franson looks like a Norris winner in our end compared to Gardiner.

Selleck is really close to being my hero.. ...but he's no Adam Schiff (L&O)
Blue Bloods is good modern family police drama which is a change in today's crime shows
