Nope. It just moves the conversation along if you say that.

It's the same way i daren't say, i don't think Dion is terrible and may actually benefit from having the luxury of playing another NHL defenseman before he retires.

Ah man, really? I love plasmas, but to each their own.

I had to settle for an LED because, well, the plasmas available were few and far between and the one's that appealed to me were out of my price range

after the little man goes to bed at night (7) - I have 4 hours til bed time!

in the summer i play baseball 1 day a week, hockey 1 day a week, try to fish 1 day a week and i golf here and there

Only one hockey pool right now (in 2 NFL pools), a very complicated keeper league with time limits on how long your players can be kept, eg. 3 years unless you owned them as rookies or sophomores, they can be on your roster for 5 years. Alex Anthopoulos was a GM in it and won quite a bit before quitting to be a real life GM.

Anyway, me and a few guys from this league are thinking about leaving to start our own keeper league without the ridiculous complications.

I am in 1 NFL pool - very simple though - just pick winners weekly.

Blacks arent that great on plasma.Angled viewing isnt great and neither is bright light.

Havent had any of the above concerns with my LED.
I have plasma, LCD and LED tv's...I prefer plasma the least.

Now, could the plasma tech have improved over the years...for sure...but Im not too impressed with them even when I see new ones in stores.

Again...just IMO.

um, are you sure you are not confused. Angled viewing, and blacks are known to be better on plasma.

Viewing in bright light is not great. I have sliding doors directly facing mine... thick, dark curtains solved the problem during the day and I mostly wtch at night anyway.

Not worth the time if not for $. I've won a couple big pots over the past few years (baseball, football and hockey), so naturally Mrs. Fernandez is all about it now, making sure she deals with the kids and leaves me alone when drafting or draft prepping

I agree, I have a 43" Toshiba plasma in the living room. Big glare. Nice TV, Beautiful picture. Same Size LED LG in the Dining room / Kitchen. The Sharp is Nice, inexpensive for a 60" it was the best buy.

No sure if can even buy a crappy one any more

whatever you get, go to AVSForum and make sure you try soem of the set-up options people post there.

These days, all the TV's are going to look good. Price would be the bigger factor than brand for me. LED because plasma is dieing.
