I just got a Panasonic Plasma, like 3 days ago, wifes parents gave it to me, I like it..had a Sony Bravia before, totally agree with ya

The Sony had a great picture... I just feel like the LED lighting is assaulting my eyes.

My next TV will be OLED

yeah I don't look at that D core and see them nearly as bad as the results. I think the coaching was awful and the posession stats were an illustration of that.

It is pretty easy to use. I also like it because you can choose specific formats like iPad

Blacks arent that great on plasma.
Angled viewing isnt great and neither is bright light.

Havent had any of the above concerns with my LED.
I have plasma, LCD and LED tv's...I prefer plasma the least.

Now, could the plasma tech have improved over the years...for sure...but Im not too impressed with them even when I see new ones in stores.

Its not entirely.
It gives you a more of theatrical viewing experience, makes you feel like you are seeing a wider view of images (without stretching them). Basically a better field of view.
Produces a much better 3d image and can make 2d images seem 3d.

Now are they worth the price compared to a LED....not right not no.
