Costco. All day.

They will essentially guarantee the best price, their warranties are dirt cheap and they basically just give you a new TV if something goes wrong. We bought a Samsung Smart TV which we almost grabbed from Future Shop...ended up spending $300+ less at Costco.

nice, I was in Costco ( Ottawa ) they didn't have any of the higher end TV's

Most of the one's they had there were low/mid models.

I was looking at the 70" Quattron's...q17 or q15, and then you go read CNET reviews and they make you double/triple think yourself. Went from almost getting out the cheque book to not even having a clue which TV I want

Could go Plasma ( it's going in the basement ) but the Panasonic VT60 are all sold out

- Garnie

I got a 50 plus inch panasonic plasma, dont get much glare, does it really matter these days?, tbh any huge new tv is gonna be awesome, but like someone said try costco

My main TV is a 58" plasma. It is not without its problems but the picture is just way nicer than any LED-lit TV I have see.

CNET as a whole is garbage, find a different review or site
- PinkSock

you think so?

You think they get paid to say a certain TV is better than another?

They had the Panasonic Plasma vt60 ranked as #1 on the planet...and I believe that to be true..I just waited too long and there all sold out and not making any more plasmas )

You don't need a smart TV. It is nice to be able to read many media formats though and networking is a good thing to have.

I actually prefer the Samsung plasmas. I find them less harsh.

If they remain the easiest team in the league to play againts....I would say no.
If they learn how to play defense...maybe.

anybody have any info on TV's

Looking to purchase 70" or 80" probably 70" as the 80's are freaking expensive.

Anybody buy 1 lately and have any input?

thanks,

- Garnie

Huge fan of Samsung...their LED smart tv's are great.
I would suggest get a curve tv if you can afford it.

I would avoid plasma completely.

80" is simply too big....doesnt seem like value paying the extra 2k.

A lot of newer TV's will play them directly over your network.

Mine is 3 years old, and won't play MkV, so I just convert them with Handbrake.

Can't agree.

my 58" plasma blew away the 60" Sony I brought home a few years ago. I have been very happy with my Plasma decision. Sports is great on it!

Certain Costco's get newer shipments than others. Theres two here in London, one of them had all the higher end/newer versions...the other didnt. It is bizarre.
