While I agree that this team will struggle out of the gate due to a tough schedule, I think they will end up being a more consistent hockey team overall this year. They have the makings of a more competitive group of bottom 6 forwards who, best case scenario, will take some of the heat off the top 6 who basically were played to death last season. The D group? Your guess is as good as mine. So, I think they will be more consistent, but at best a bubble playoff team.

I don't agree with you about a tough schedule out of the gate. Its not any harder than our 6-1 start last year. Also starting the season with 4 home games in 5 games should be beneficial.

But as we know whenever someone repeats a story they often add something for dramatic effect.
