To me, you can't say someone as naturally gifted and talented as JT to be considered the "hardest worker". IMO, it has to go to players like Hartnell, Smyth, Burrows and others who don't have a ton of "raw" ability but still manage to get decent points and sustain a career in the NHL. - kneughter
To be the very best, you need to put in tons of hard work to go along with that natural gift and skill. Players who have that talent and raw skill but don't put in the work are guys like Kovalev and Zherdev.
I'd say Lundqvist is one of the hardest working players in the league. If he thinks part of his game is off he'll literally do 1000s of repititions in practice to get it corrected...and he always thinks part of his game could be improved. |

Who is the hardest working player in the league?
Guy-from-my-team and I'm going to make it seem less homer-y by also adding guy-from-another-team-in-opposite-conference and guy-from-a-rival-team-conveniently-placed-last-on-my-list.
Oh and you're stupid if you disagree with me. |

Honorable mention to Mike Santorelli, who showed up to camp last year, beating the Sedins 2 mi/12minute run, and played ten times worth his entry level salary.
More honorable mention: Shane Doan; Kyle Okposo; David Backes. - roland_hazard
I happy to hear about Santorelli. |

Giroux is hardest working player IMO. Toews and Crosby are up there too. |

I could have also gone with a "Did Giroux grab it when it fell" joke here. |

Sir, I do graciously admit defeat in the race to a Giroux-ass-grabbing joke. You have been nothing short of a gentleman on the field of battle. |
