Irrelevant since 1967. - glove_was_stuck
didn't know you get to decide when cups are relevant. please let me know who gave you that privilege? common sense dictates that you look at a franchise and see how many cups they've won as a whole, but i guess when your franchise has only won 6 it's understandable why you think that way. OWNED AGAIN hahahaha |

ahahaha i can't believe bruins fans were chirping leafs so long about the seguin trade and then they trade seguin for washed up eriksson and hamilton. a prospect D and mr.concussion for an elite young C/elite scoring winger.
bruins got OWNED hahahahahah - sensnucksnocups
oh no... The Bruins have missed so many post season opportunities since then. Here let me help you:
play-off
noun
1.
(in competitive sports) the playing of an extra game, rounds, innings, etc., in order to settle a tie.
2.
a series of games or matches, as between the leading teams of two leagues, in order to decide a championship.

All Stanley Cups are relevant to the franchise. Who could argue when that is the whole point of icing a team. |

Let's see in 1967...you were not yet conceived(thank christ). You're all of 8 or 9 years old now. Irrelavant. You're celebrating championships that you didn't see or experience. You suck and your team sucks. |

so by your logic, and 8 or 9 year old would not have been alive for any cups won in the 80s or 90s correct? so i guess all those cups won by the oilers, red wings etc are now irrelevant? ahahahahah do you see how bad your reasoning is? what does the age of a person have anything to do with their franchise's success? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. nice try though, i'm sure you felt smart until i owned you again.
anyways i'm done posting for the day, its getting quite tiresome when i'm using facts to own you trolls and you guys just keep trolling with irrelevant comebacks and personal attacks. |

So... By your logic the Islanders must be a far superior team to the Leafs due to them winning 4 cups since their existence and your team winning 0 in that same time span. |

so by your logic the new Las Vegas team will be just as successful as the habs, leafs, wings, oilers, isles, pretty much any team that has won multiple cups since they have won the same amount of cups since their existence as every other team.
god this is too easy. sorry i had to reply one last time since this troll loves the attention. remaining undefeated today once again, later trolls enjoy trolling. |

Nobody EVER argues the significance of the Leafs cup wins. The 13 or whatever Cups they have lend to the Leafs being one of the most storied Franchises in the history of the NHL.
Stanley Cups are not awarded to the Team that wins the most hockey trades.
Being a financial success makes you a success as a business.
Being a great, financially successful business with a storied History of success , and a history of winning some trades do not equate to being a good Team today. |

Everytime I see someone bragging about cups from the 60's I laugh.... I mean that's like bragging about your GF having a threesome before you met her ...it would have been cool to be a part of ...but you weren't so why the (frank) brag Bout it - Redmile247
It has to be taken in context.
Much easier to win when there are 6 teams than 30.
Much easier to win when there is no draft.
Much easier to win without the salary cap.
Modern day accomplishments out weight the historical ones.
It's "what have you done lately" stuff that matters.
