I tried. It is well-written and the acting and plot are good. Just never became attached to it. Kind of like Dexter.

Yeah I managed to watch 2 seasons of Breaking Bad and 2 of Dexter and then lost all interest in both shows. They are good shows but they just didn't hold my attention. Weeds was also a show like that for me.

I've never seen Boardwalk Empire but I have heard good things about it. If I had to pick some shows I really like I would say Vikings, Californication, The Walking Dead and Black Sails.

I was a fan of the comics so the show is a treat for me to watch. I don't find it's the same thing over and over at all and I couldn't care less about the gore tbh. I just like the characters and the crazy stories.

It's the lead in story to Treasure Island but it's done with an edge instead of being "fluffy" Pirates and poop but good show.

Best comedy series ever.
