Can't tell what you're getting at with this. Kevin Hayes was basically a player the Rangers got for free. Also, it's not like the team that drafted him just refused to sign him. You'd be thrilled if the he and the Devils had come to an agreement.

You guys may have a pretty good young defense. But that's it. Call me a homer when I say a team with a younger and better forward group is on the up and up.

Not a problem. Just thought it was silly to point out Columbus's apparent lack of success, considering how new they are in the league. How good the Oilers are now and over the 10 years is irrelevant to the conversation.

Just my opinion, and I happen to like both teams, but I think Schneider is the better goalie, and that Columbus looks like a team built for playoffs. Solid Defense, deep at center , big and tough. I think Columbus showed what they are capable of in the playoffs, and that they will be even better this season.

I wouldn't necessarily say that but the style they play is definitely one suited well for the playoffs
