That was a hard "Who wore it best as JM and JB were both perfect for their eras but Gino.............. come on...................
HARRRROOOOLLLLD.
GINO GINO GINO
Does any of this ring a bell?
Try a poll that pits Gino against Harold.... that would be interesting. - Beatle_john
I think we'd obviously see a lot of sympathy votes for Gino (not that he couldn't hold his own without that). Both players were loved and celebrated, there's no need to go further, with all due respect |

I like your 'silver lining' strategy.
Although, Miller still has potential to be my T******* this year. |

I'm also still trying to embrace the 'silver lining' strategy but for me it's more like pewter lining |

P.S. note I was able to resist any sort of 10 page dissertation on my 'love' of Miller |

Ahh, I see. Well, actually, taking into consideration Tortorella's warm and fuzzy personality, I'd say Teddybear wasn't far off, no?
(oops, I may have mentioned T********* but please don't say anything) |

quite the compelling analogy
I knew you were a closet Wheel fan, ya bastid! (can 'x' be used as a ##$@# vowel?)

Yup, everyone seems to think our 1st rounders will be home runs when in reality about 1 in 3 or 4 become consistent nhlers.
Current nucks 1st rd draft picks with full time roster spots;
Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin....can't think of anyone else whose played 82 games or more wow, it's 15 years since they was drafted. |

Yeah. No, sure NHL stars in the first round unless you are getting a top pick and even then unless you are getting a Crosby....
Was curious how many former Canucks first round picks are playing in the league? and overall, which team has produced the most nhl players? (I guess there should be a minimum number of games played) Anyone see any recent articles that cover this or related? |

Since the Sedins were drafted:
Umberger, Kesler, Schneider, Bourdon*, Grabner, Hodgson, Schroeder**
To put this in perspective, the all mighty Detroit Red wings have (with fewer 1st round picks mind you):
Howard, Kindl, Smith, |

I think that's a bit of a misconception most people have as concerns Detroit and their ability to draft and develop top quality players. |

1st and second lines aren't the problem. its the lack of all the other role players.
So if they make it to the PO's, it will be a quick exit |
