But you did. Last season 2nd line was Palat - Filpulla - Callahan

Someone took extra strength ass clown pills this morning didn't they? I am where oh where that Cooper likes to play 11/these are the boards and I believe will be on the roster at the beginning of the season and essentially their positional rankings from line 1 to odd man out. However feel free to take a few more of those pills if you would like.

Okey then but you still rank Panik over Brown wich proves that your bowl was full of ass clown pills instead of Rice crispies this morning

I rate Panik over Brown because Brown doesn't have the size or the muscle to handle fourth line grinder duties.

I like Drouin's potential as a top line LW, but think it may take 30 games to a full season for him to be able to be a contributor at that position. I would thin Palat would be a better 1st line LW. I am okay with Callahan at RW for the reasons stated.

I think you give Drouin third lie and second power play minutes at first until he adjusts to the NHL.

I hate you guys so much right now lol. Its just not fair how good your team will be in 1-2 years. Soooo much untapped potential, and a core that plays the game the right way. You don't need a strict defensive system because almost all of your fwds (Stammer, Callahan, Filpula, Johnson, Killorn, Palat, probably more) are committed to playing well in all three zones. Everyone likes to toss up Crosby/Towes for the who would you build your team around question, I think people are gonna find out real quick Stamkos might be the best option. Has the skills of Ovechkin but plays like he feels like he has to earn his ice. He'll block a Johnny rocket with his schnoz, and return almost immediately (no small feat). He'll push his body to the limit to return from injury. If anyones ever gonna do 50 in 50 again it'll be stammer with Drouin feeding him the puck. Once TB has a few deep runs everyone will be wise to this. Idk if I'm super excited or terrified to see what this team will become.

Don't worry you'll be OK.

He'll get limited minutes on the top line, but putting him on the 3rd line is pointless, he's not a checker.

3rd line doesnt mean it has to be a checking line. The rangers 3rd line was zuccarello, brassard, and pouliot. Hardly a checking line.

Funny thing about this is that Drouin will get traded to the Leafs for Clarkson at deadline, and in 2016, Stamkos will sign with the Leafs 7x7. #leaffanslogic

If Tyler Johnson is going to be our 3rd line center then that line is a scoring line and not a checking line. 1st and 3rd lines would be scoring lines so rotating Drouin and Killorn between the lines would benefit Drouin.

Our 2nd line would be our complete two way line to play D but also score and probably go against the opponents best line and our 4th line is our checking defensive zone start line.

I have always said our 3rd line is a scoring line even is Johnson ends up on RW with Stamkos the 3rd line will still be a scoring line in my opinion.

Drouin is not ready for the top line yet... my opinion only. I have watched him over his entire Jr career.. I can't see it happening.

He will have to make major changes to his game to do so, I should add..

I have to say you're all being very creative but none of you, including Michael, is building a lineup to win through the season AND into the playoffs. You need balance throughout the lineup to win in the playoffs and create difficult or impossible matchups for the opposition. IMO there is no way Drouin starts out on the top line. They'll be facing the oppositions top checking line and defensive pairing almost every shift. This is not the place for on the job training. I believe he'll be there by December, but his development is more important than rushing him into a role. Palat - Filppula - Callahan are our best defensive players at there respective positions. You can take it to the bank that they will be our second line and will check the oppositions top line on almost every shift. Connolly and Panik both got 2 way contracts this year. That is a wake up call that they need to deliver, or expect to pickup they're mail somewhere else. I love JT Brown, I'd be picking him for my team based on effort alone, but he seems like all cake and no frosting. He's had trouble scoring despite plenty of chances. My fear is he's another Dana Tyrell. My lineup to start the season looks like this. Keep in mind Drouin and Killorn will flip flop when he's ready. Those of you writing off Richard Panik need to go back and watch some of the videos. After suffering a pretty severe leg injury, and missing 13 playoff games he came back in the 2013 Calder Cup finals to score a goal in 6 consecutive games. He did that facing Tatar, Andersson and Nyquist.

Killorn - Stamkos - Connolly/Panik
Palat - Filppula - Callahan
Drouin - Johnson - Panik/Connolly
Morrow - Boyle - Brown
