Where are they going to find the NHL talent to fill these rosters? You could probably take all the junk players off the teams and create 2-4 full rosters of non NHL talent already in the league.

Expansion? Yes lets water down the league a little more.

I can live with expanding to 32 teams, wouldn't necessary like it, but I know they want to balance out the two conferences. But to 34 teams? No way!

If they wanted to do what is right for the game they wouldn't expand at all. Maybe move a franchise or two and keep building.

I don't think Marham would have as many fans as people think. I think of it as the Ottawa Senators. Most fans in Ottawa are Leafs fans. If Markham got a team most people in Toronto would be Leafs fans.

Yea even if they did 34 teams and brought in 3 western teams an one eastern the conferences may be even but now the divisions are messed

I got everything I needed from this article in the title... that Vegas IS getting an NHL team.

I lived in ATL when the team moved (attended the last game) was not really a fan but there were other dynamics that made it difficult in ATL. Part was stadium location. The Braves are moving to the Burbs for the same reason.

Think about it though, if you're a UFA and Peg offers you 5 and everywhere else offers you 4, odds are most players will take their families to the better QOL. Or your a young draft pick in Peg, after your ECL is up, do you stay in Peg in your early 20's or go elsewhere? Team will always struggle and be forced to over pay UFA's.

Exactly the league shouldn't even be thinking of expanding until they relocate Arizona, Florida.

Would love to see these two franchises brought back. As far as adding teams the entrance fees that the league will get will make the owners more than happy. I'm wondering if they have to share any of that money with the players? I suspect not.
