This franchise has been one questionable move after another for going on 15 years now.

No doubt our team is still a bit too young and I'd say that's the one thing Coller (and I) really didn't account for. But aside for perhaps lack of experience I think the point is still valid.

Sort of. I don't think Moulson/Hodgson/Ennis/Staff/Stew compare to the Carter/Gaborik/ Williams/ Browns of the world

However, without Doughty, their blue line is mediocre. I would take Myers over Muzzin or Voynov. (and I could care less what their corsi is )

I bet if Myers played with Doughty his corsi would look at least equal to or better than those guys. But again part of the reason our group doesn't compare to theres is because we don't have those two. Not saying they would be exactly as good even with a #1c and d but they'd definitely be in the same conversation.

I don't disagree with his assessment but saying they're stuck on their identity is a bit childish. It's young team trying to rebuild their image through the draft, it's pretty clear actually.

His statement basically screams im upset because i wasn't good enough to make the cut on a last place team.

Stuck on identity ironically would have been during McNabb's glory days here when they tried that whole tough guy attitude and forgot that whole skill bit.

He's a 5-6 guy at best and I said it 2 years ago when people thought he was going to be our #1 someday.

Would he even be in our top 15 prospects today?
