I mean, it's to be expected, they won 3 cups in a short span yet still are almost bankrupt, their "god" was just forced to retire, and they are under the disillusion that what they played when they won was called "hockey" and they have to go fuking Newark to see a game.. I'd rather go to the swamp...

In addition to the circus it creates having Brodeur linger around, the guy is barely above .900 save pct. over the last 5 years or so. Brodeur just doesn't perform above free market replacement value.

I am a bit puzzled about Holland's latest remarks about Alfredsson though. Can't imagine why he wouldn't sign him if he is willing to play.

My friend told me a story yesterday how his brother serves people subpoenas as a living and had to serve Ovechkin for failing to pay child support (apparently the dude has like 4 kids running around from different broads). The guy is black and based in new york so during intermission between a caps rangers game, he found ovie on the way to the lockerroom and was like "ovie im your biggest black fan can I get your autograph" and after ovie acknowledged him and said his own name the guy was like you've been served and walked away. Ovie cursed him the fck out and got really pissed...probably came out the next period hitting all the rangers extra hard.

Isn't he technically legally allowed to go serve him though? Its like a court thing.

My roommate worked as a photographer at sabres home games and he always saw fans of the opposing team were always waiting outside the away lockerroom for autographs in between periods too.

Well I was only served once(Wasn't for illegitimate children), and the town I previously lived in it was a sheriff who delivered it.

Not just you...I just read the latest thread...They are totally clueless over there. Signed a bunch of old guys and they're going to be better than last year. I think they'll be worse than the Isles. Last place type of worse.
