Anyone else think hockeyfutures grade ranking of "prob of future success" is wonk? A: the scores don't correlate with the grade, B: for an example,Knight is a B but the #4 pick in the last draft is a C, and C) there are no A's!

I said its an ok low risk signing. But automatically expectations are that he'll have a big bounce back season and you'll get assets for him...and if not he'll be a leader for the Heat...yeah just the type you want to "lead" young guys. Come on. Just be realistic.

If he is playing with Monahan and Johnny as a line they will get lit up. That line would have the worst +- in the league. I really like Monahan but he cant carry a line yet.

And I keep hearing people say he's coming in with something to prove and will be motivated....so getting dumped by 3 other teams didnt wake him up yet?

So Rick Ball and Kelly Hrudey on the TV for the Flames this year.

I can't say I know Ball all that much, but ANYONE is an improvement over Rob (frank)ing Kerr and Chuck Simmer.....I like Hrudey because he's a positive guy. I'm sick of listening to guy's like Ferraro and Healy constantly rip people all the time.

Those guy's can get (frank)ed!

I like Ferraro, Hrudey isn't that bad although I tend to want to punch every goalie as it's never their fault for allowing a goal.

Monahan's more of a shooter, I think Gootch's chance to light it up will be if he gets paired with Gaudreau (assuming Gaudreau comes up as advertised). Gaudreau's the only thing close to an "assists machine" that we have.

Gaudreau Money Gootch could be a good line.

I think the only people that they gave an A rating to are Kane and Ovechkin.

Knight is a B prospect because he has a game that will transition into the NHL but doesn't have a very high skill. Perfect checking center.

I wonder what they will put put Mcdavid at?

Crosby was a 10B and Malkin was a 9B.

I actually like this site because they look at everyone. I'm not their word is god but interesting for comparison.
