Why would we be interested in a Mike Richards interview? Do you mean Brad? |

Seabrook is one of the beat passing dmen in the league and anyone laughing at that isn't watching the same game as me. - Al
Completely agree on that one Al. Seabs has great outlets. |

If someone wants Versteeg and Roszival - not a sure thing until Versteeg shows himself 100% healthy - don't know what Roszival needs to show.
It's a lot of cap hit ($2.2) and real money ($1.75) for a 6/7 defenseman. - StLBravesFan

Mike Richards (the radio host) is pretty funny. Used to work out of Calgary. Does some great voice imitations and skits. Today he did Foster Hewitt broadcasting a game where the Honduras national hockey team was pummelling Team Canada with Ken Dryden playing like sh$t in net.
He might throw some funny stuff at Captain Serious.

Too much ambiguity on my part. What could go wrong?
Guess in the end I'm just a lazy writer |

Halak at his best is not as good as Crawford at his best. Sure Halak had one great playoff series (MTL vs Caps), but Crow has had at least 4 OUTSTANDING playoff series over the past 2 years. Ill take Crow over Halak and Anderson any day. - EnzoD
Halak is small and often hurt....Can't really compare his accomplishments to Crawford.

Crawford is an easy target to pick on. While he isn't perfect he's a rock solid goalie and we're lucky to have him on the team. |

I hope TT doesn't get the Ruutu treatment.
Tuomo Ruutu was a very very good player in his own right, but the expectations on him were well beyond what he could have possibly been. Hawks fans have to let him be him, not crush himunder the weight of what they want him to be. - BINGO!
I wouldn't blame the Hawk fans for expecting too much and there wasn't very much here at the time...Ruutu was sold as the best player in the world outside of North America by Dale Tallon.
Too bad Ruutu suffered some bad injuries early in his career....He had a knee that looked like a honey dew melon and that was when it felt good. |

Now that's a scary thought. - DarthKane
Almost as scary as Leddy playing top 4 minutes for the Hawks. Although, a sadistic side of me hopes he does so all his fanboys can see how bad he plays. |

I have to agree.
Many can whine about rewarding a player who you drafted and was a player who waited and patiently developed as a minor leaguer.
A player who after four complete years in junior was willing to wait five MORE years of development time before patiently getting a chance to actuallly BE a major league goaltender.
and when I say I am privileged to have him in the hawk net, I say so based on how terrific he is under pressure, in piles and down low...I will never call myself an expert at the position, but big times saves that he has made are what in my mnd separates him from season stats. The kid played like a big bear and stood out as a terrific competitor.
We can talk about other goalies but until I see them keep their playoff teams IN games liek I saw Crawford do, you can put them on pedistals in your back yards, not on on the board, because frankly being a money goalie is something that evolves and you can also see goalers devolve very quickly when breakdowns happen.
In my battles, I am gonna go with Crow. |
