Not the best in the league but he's been very good if not great during the playoffs the last 3 times he was there! I'm happy with "average" stats during the regular season as long as we can make the playoffs! Andy has turned it up a notch in the playoffs and that's what matters! Half the goalies you listed are either unproven or not better then Andy in the playoffs so no, I wouldn't make the switch with them!
Luongo is older then Andy and has been terrible in the playoffs for several years!!
Bernier has no playoffs experience!
Schneider barely has any playoffs experience and nothing great there...although I do believe he has the talent to get better now that he has the reigns...
Bobrovsky has been pretty good the past 2 regular seasons but completely terrible during playoffs!!
Nothing great about Varlamov in the playoffs either...

Ouuffff!!! You should want Schneider, Bob, Bernier or Varlamov over Anderson in a heart beat! I think this whole deal is more about Ottawa having stability in net and not needing to worry about goalies not resigning or not wanting to sign in Ottawa. This way you have an NHL goalie for 4 years no fuss |

not picking a player who doesnt know when to shut his yap is racist? Canada has much too much talent to waste their time with this guy, I also recall PK playing for Canada at the juniors,worlds and olympics.

I agree and disagree. I would only choose maybe bobrovsky over anderson from this list. Bernier, Schneider and Varlamov are all good goalies, but I sincerely would prefer to have Anderson.
