I read TG's article on Gomez. When I first saw this, I thought wtf like the other guy, but imo I don't like Zubrus or Ruutu centering the third line, and I personally don't like Elias as a center. Zajac, Henrique, Gomez I'd have no problem with it and it would give us another option for center. Guys are gonna have to be moved as it is, but another guy will have to go or keep 14 forwards, 7 D, and 2 goalies.

all I wanted to do was go on hating Gomez in peace, but now we have to root for him.

because we don't have enough forwards as it is!!! "ooo the chemistry between Gomez and ELias!!!" .. that was 7 yearrrrrs ago, and he's 35 now. Should've brought back Gionta too (tho it would've been millions more than Havlat) and we could've had the EGG line back!

but maybe he'd be an ok 3rd line center? better than Josefson? or should we just roll with Josefson? Best player wins? Gotta ship out some forwards if this is even a possibility.

Also can't stomach that we'll have FOUR expansion teams. Really?? Four??? How bout just 2 in the west so they have the same amount of teams as the east??? That's what we thought was going to happen.. but 4?? A bit too much. Thinning it out a bit too much. Too many teams. Stupid. Not a fan at all.

The last thing we need is more old players what we do need is a good trade to bring in a top notch young talent like everyone in the hockey world sees this but not Lou like when is he going to start moving bodies out ? We remove 3 add 3 still have two decent players unsigned and invite two absolute plugs to camp like wtf is he thinking that because he invited kaberle to camp that Gelinas will get scared and take less money ? Common kaberle couldn't beat me out for a spot for (frank) sakes lol

I don't get it either. He did some good things but there's been some moves I question greatly.

We are going to be that team who ruins all their young prospects because the gm can't help but add dusty poop players whenever they become available I just really don't like how Lou prioritizes thing like let's lock up gio and bernier first then sign a decent free agent and a low risk high reward one wait forever and not resign the best fourth liner despite already signing the other two members of the fourth line and still not having one of your most promising kids signed yet but we will go a head and shift our attention to guys who should not make the team and speak with them to give them invite. His top priority is always adding old players and not getting rid of the bevy of poop players we already have
