So on my business travels I ran into a guy from Chicago that seemed to know his poop. In conversation I asked him what he thought about the Kane/Teows contracts and he said they will be top heavy but are deep with talent and not worried, etc. but what he did say was that interesting was rumor has it they are looking at possibly trading Sharp in a hurry to get cap compliant. I have no way to verify this but wonder if that happens what you guys would think about getting him. Could we offer anything worthwhile? We have some cap space! I would be down.

I wouldn't mind sharp but there is just to many guys in the mix right now so unless Brunner and Ryder or one of then are going back with a decent asset I don't see us doing it

Sharp has been on the market for some time now and I guess he's a real douche so I would pass on that, unless those rumors aren't true then (frank) yeah pull the trigger.

And Hayes is an bumhole, anyone should be able to figure that out.

true its worth a try tho... accutally u never know ryder but come and put up 25 goals this year idk why im feeling hes gnna do that... if you looks at his stats he has a good year 3 streaky/bad years then a good year again... his last 3 seasons 16 gs, 10gs, 18gs.... i can see him putting up 30... the year before the 16 he put up 35 gs

You got to factor in that he is likely going to lose his spot in the top six to at least one player and how much older he is now he might hit 20 but I wouldn't be shocked at all if he finished this season with like 15g and 15-20a he will be on the third line and might not even see time on the second power play unit depending on how the rest of the guys shake out

I read TG's article on Gomez. When I first saw this, I thought wtf like the other guy, but imo I don't like Zubrus or Ruutu centering the third line, and I personally don't like Elias as a center. Zajac, Henrique, Gomez I'd have no problem with it and it would give us another option for center. Guys are gonna have to be moved as it is, but another guy will have to go or keep 14 forwards, 7 D, and 2 goalies.
