Yeaaaa plus it was weird the way it was set up that there weren't matches head to head. All my points leagues you played someone else and got a win loss. This one was just whoever gets the most points by the end of the season wins it.

It was different, but head2head will be fun.On the other note, will Mcilrath ever make this team?

Not a huge head-to-head fan, though we use it in Rotowire league.

This will be a big training camp for him. Still only 22 years old and basically lost a season of development due to injuries. He also plays the position that takes the longest to really develop.

Kristo on the other hand is 2 years old, plays the "easier" position, and won't be ready to crack the lineup until AT LEAST next training camp. Perspective yo.

I re-activated our fantasy hockey league, people from last year should have invites.

Anybody else wants in just let me know.

We are going back to the head-to-head format instead of points, I thoughts points sucked and was boring.

A points league is fine, but make it head to head points and not total season points. That way we still have weekly match ups.

A bunch of Islanders fans were arguing with me that Kyle Okposo is hands down better than Nash and thinking otherwise would make me a homer and then their blogger they all love posted saying the Okposo isn't even in the same universe as Nash and that he needs to score 30+ goals every year for the next 5 years to even be in the conversation

That blogger is alright in my books now...I wonder what all the Islanders regulars will say in response to that.

You have a way of exagerrating. We called you a homer bcs of your wording which as usual was complete homerism BS. Its not a clear cut choice really with both sides having valid points. Dan is alright in your book bcs hed take nash over okposo? Personally id take okposo evwn though nash has a better career thus far. Factor in health, contract, performance last yr in the playoffs(no show again...), and ceiling. Its a debate with no clear right or wrong imo.

Not to say you can't argue the point but it is somewhat
Absurd to compare a guy who finally had one breakout season
To a guy who has been averaging more than that for quite a
Few years. Just doesn't add up. Sure, you can say you'd rather
Have Okposo than Nash at this moment in time but it's a pretty
Big gamble that he will be consistent; something Nash has
Already proven in spades.

A guy that has proven to not be a good playoff performer is not someone I want on my team. I know I'm an Islander fan before you point it out.

Haven't been able to confirm yet that Ryan Malone will be in Rangers camp on a tryout, but sounds like it's happening.

yeah, thanks for the expertise you can share with us about the playoffs. That 6 game series the Isles had with Pittsburgh last year was so incredible.
