The playbook is definitely vanilla, but their lack of ability to make basic football plays is somewhat alarming. If they were merely holding back that much, you would not have seen them playing deep into the 3rd quarter when Tampa had taken out all its starters.

He's been in trouble for drinking in the past. From what I read, he had a prior DUI, and because of that, he's not allowed any alcohol. So even though he was at home, he failed his substance test. Normally, alcohol isn't something the NFL tests for and suspends people for, but due to his previous offense, he's a special case.

Technically, he should have been suspended for the entire season. They actually went easy on him because he was at home according to his Lawyer.

I'm not saying the lack of punishment for the rest makes sense. But I understand why he got in trouble for drinking in his house.

The disciplinary actions by the NFL are just as baffling to me as they are in the NHL. It never makes any sense and the majority of the time, the punishment is tailored to the player and not the offense.

It hurts me to write this: EJ just does not seem to have the intangibles to be a franchise QB!!
I really feel sorry for all Bills fans (including myself).
This franchise just can't seem to get it right when it comes to drafting a QB.
And with burning the 1st pick for next year, we are set back for another 3-5 years!

They need to not play the QB they drafted for the first couple of years.
