If you believe the pundits, there are Milwaukee businesses in Green Bay with those PSL's and luxury boxes that they renovated. I have no idea how true that really is.

I also think Oakland is another target. They're also being pressured to build a new stadium...or move to LA.

not really arguing with what you're saying as I believe it's pretty much spot on...

with buffalo finally coming out of a recession that's lasted some 25 years, now is not the time for a new stadium...

but, ultimately, it should be up to the new bills owner as to how and when he wants to build one

I think id take fitz over ej at this point. Least fitz aired it out instead of these lame 5 yard passes. I think fitz with sammy and williams could of been pretty solid

IMO, Fitz with Hackett would produce the same result

Fitz's semi-success here was 100% Chan Gailey. In fact I wish Gailey was our OC right now

He did a lot of good things with very little talent.

Fitz, Spiller, Freddy, and Stevie Johnson all had their career bests under him

For the Buffalo region, you're correct. However, the NFL owners don't think that way, and they couldn't care less whether it sets the region back or not, just as long as it puts revenue in their pockets. The fact that they make these stadiums publicly financed in the first place is an indicator. The question becomes does the city/county really have both the balls and leverage to tell the NFL to go pound salt. My first thought is "no".

yeah...well...jerry jones should just stick to playing his gm role...the competitive balance of the league is better because of it

Yea agreed, I wanted him gone up until I watched our offense last season.

IMO Hackett is clueless, the screen game sucks, EJ looked awful, and the running game is pretty blah.

I have a feeling we could see a lot of our D

Yeah, but you said it yourself the other day. He might be a jackass when it comes to the product on the field, but when it comes to making money and adding value, there might be nobody better.

yeah...I can see that

imo, they've been building a real solid team although they're missing a couple of pieces...and, I believe that the loss of Watkins really hurt both Hackett and ej

I'm not panicking on EJ yet, I do see some throws he's improved on from last year. However this is supposed to be a power run, play action get the ball to Watkins or Spiller in space type of offense, and unless they are going 100% vanilla right now..... It's not working

I'm praying it is, and I remember the Bills of the 90's losing just about every pre season game, but we have a young team.....Hope they are prepared

I am really concerned about Hackett's play calling . I hope he is going Vanilla as you suggest . A veteran backup is still needed.

That came from the same source that also said Pegula's bid was in excess of $1.2 billion when it's not even close to that. I'm not so sure they're planning one so much as they've merely brainstormed.
- buffalofan19

Actually, that bid may have been accurate. Forbes was way off as per the Toronto Star last week when it reported that all three bids were well below a billion. Bon Jovi's group's 2nd bid was in over a billion based on rock solid sources and if they had to come in because they were low, why wouldn't Pegula have to re-bid as well? Forbes' articles have been crap regarding the Bills' sale.

I liked him as a guy, and I loved his attitude on the field, but man it was hard watching all those 4th quarter intercepts in all those close games.

Yeah, but at least you could cheer for the team until the few minutes of the game. Now-a-Days you can leave at the half and not miss much

Dog days of HB posting, but I'm thinking of getting seats for the Toronto preseason game on 9/26 (Friday).

Let a brother know if you're interested via pms.

I haven't really seen that to be honest unless you mean the preseason.

Last year Manuel's losses were all close games for the most part

He left the field ahead of New England, we were beating Cleveland when he got hurt, we should have beat Atlanta, and the Jets game came down to the 4th.
